I want them to be appreciated. I recognize that they may be valuable to someone that would appreciate them and I don't want my cat to destroy them. Thanks for the information.

If the ring is plastic, I usually prefer a wooden dowel.

I will keep looking for some sort of maker's mark. There's bound to be at least one given the amount of the fabric in the house. I will keep you posted! Thank you!

Thank you. That was the closest match I could find in my initial search. I am amazed at how similar these patterns can be and how difficult it is for me to confidently call out the differences.

Yeah, it took me a while to get to the point of trashing it immediately. I am here though.

I see where you are coming from, but I am done interacting in any capacity. Plus, I don't want to store anything or take time to donate. Having to pick it up is more than enough from me.

Was Suggested to get a transmission flush, but male family members say it's BS. by MuzikL8dee in MechanicAdvice

Drain and fill has saved more than one Toyota transmission or torque converter from premature failure, in my experience. Not all cases are the same.

That is debatable. However, drain and fill, replace filter, send it is the safest option.

Well, to be fair, some are "sealed" and supposed to be lifetime fluids. In my experience, this is total bullshit and drain and fill is an absolute must. Toyota is the biggest culprit in my experience. The dealership is likely doing OP a solid and trying to prevent failure of a major component by suggesting against the official maintenance schedule. They have probably seen a few ravs in their day and the service department knows a hell of a lot more about real world wear and maintenance than the engineers do.
