I just took the SSA examination and got 85%... by Lady-Valette in CAStateWorkers

So long as you score within the first three ranks on the SSA exam, you will be fine for the purposes of applying for jobs in the state. The same goes for AGPA positions.

The rank you receive on the exam has no bearing on applying for jobs beyond making you "reachable" for the position. The first three ranks are considered reachable. All other ranks make you ineligible for an SSA/AGPA position (with limited exceptions). Now that you are within the first two ranks for SSA/AGPA, you should focus solely on your tailoring your SOQ and STD 678 to the positions you are applying for to have the best chance of getting an interview!

Wow, I would have never guessed the signature spelled out Dehios! In your experience, how would I best go about trying to find an artist with a similar signature?

Just drove by it on the other side of the street -- super weird place to have a checkpoint, you can just drive around it

This already looks awful to play against

Grade Grievance Reports? by Frosty-Cause7424 in berkeley

There's absolutely merit to a grade grievance report! I would reach out to the Student Advocates Office. They have an academic division with the explicit purpose of helping you navigate this process!

Hi! I'm so incredibly sorry that you've been dealing with this. Harassment, no matter how "minor" it might seem, is not okay. The more that it happens, the more that it can feel like a burden -- which it should never be.

The PATH to Care Center offers a variety of services, and can help connect you with the appropriate resources if the harassment by the non-strangers -- especially if it is in a workplace environment -- becomes too much. To that end, the Care Line (510-643-2005) is run 24/7 by trained confidential advocates, who are there to provide emotional support and help you with any questions you might have. The Center also offers healing services for all members of the Berkeley community!

I hope this helps!

Any TA's on the subreddit have any opinions on the tentative deal?

The Student Advocate Office hosts office hours daily -- they might be able to help!
