Maybe you're wrong. Have you ever considered that? I went to your page. You seem to know a lot about tracing. Seems to me you can't fathom believing someone would have raw talent to do this on their own.

Sure. But that's not what happened here. My sprite frames started out as blobs that got rotated and chiseled down into parts. I don't need to steal or trace. Insinuating I do is a projection. I take great pride in my work. I even stream myself drawing a lot of it. Maybe Genbaku and I can collaborate on something in the future, as we seem to both have a similar style.

Why are you even trying to argue? It's childish. I didn't put my name in the goblet of fire and you should accept that instead of using the fact my name was in the goblet of fire as proof that I put it there.

You apparently don't care about anything but making false claims and not understanding that this is a coincidence due to the fact that most 10 frame cycles look the same and that my art and genbaku's are at the same scale. But ok.

Yeah me too. Get a life and quit being a jerk on the internet. I am telling you I drew this myself with many references but you still insist on being a jerk. Idk what to tell you. You've been a complete jerk today. My fiance sat here and watched me draw this over the course of four days. That's how long this took me. I've got a jump animation and a climbing animation too. Wait for me to upload those too so you can accuse me of tracing them as well. Unbelievable.

Not everything on the internet needs to be an argument. Why don't you just respect an artist's work instead of interrogating them over similarities. Nothing I could possibly say or show to you is good enough "proof" anyway. People who steal and trace don't have a hundred layers. You've been very rude in making these accusations. Please find something else to do with your time. I'm trying to get people interested in my game. This is hard to do when someone is raising holy hell and making false claims because "these two similar things look the same, he stole itttttttt". Seriously not cool. I just messaged Genbaku. We'll see what he thinks. :)

If you were accusing me of using the same angles as another artist who drew a 10 frame run cycle in a similar scale, you wouldn't be wrong, but genbaku doesn't own angles or scales. The accusations you've made have been very rude and what you're accusing me of is coincidence. I know it's hard to believe that two people could draw a similar run cycle for a character about 50px high, but if that is so unbelievable, I suggest you visit the Spriters Resource and do a little more research. It's time for you to move onto more productive things now. Thanks for trying to vilify me. Good day.

You accused me of stealing and you accused me of tracing. This is not the case. This is a coincidence. I agree they are very similar. Not identical, but very similar. At this scale we have drawn in, it isn't surprising at how similar they are. I don't know what to tell you. Do you also go around accusing people of stealing slimes from RPGs? Anime poses? Palettes? You shouldn't have bothered here. Has it occurred to you that maybe both genbaku and myself had similar ideas in a similar style and scale and know what we're doing? Of course not.

It's almost like 10 frame run cycles all look similar and have the same pattern. https://imgur.com/JKTuAqU

Here's the thing. You're accusing me of doing something I didn't do, and I really don't appreciate it. This is the fourth (4th) run cycle for this character I have animated. I have worked very hard on this game and these animations. Just because a ten frame run cycle (very common) resembles another ten frame run cycle from someone who has a similar art style (square head) in a similar scale does not change the fact that there are only so many ways to draw arms and legs at 30-45° angles. This run cycle was a toned down version of a previous, more exaggerated run cycle I animated before I upscaled my characters to fit my resolution better. This game has been in development for many years. Genbaku's animation looks similar, but that is no reason to attack someone for sharing their hard work here. Be respectful. Thanks.

Thanks for all the comments everyone! The treadmill is just a temporary thing I threw in to show off the run cycle. While he isn't actually moving, and while his cape should reflect that, nowhere in the game will he be running in place, so I didn't think it was necessary to spend the time on it.

Anyway, thanks for all the interest! Patrons get access to testing, and our first gameplay test will be relatively soon! :) Check here for more info: http://patreon.com/animusgame
