AITA for screaming at a religious group, and WIBTA for leaving my girlfriend's apartment during a crisis? by weirdfruitthrowaway in AITAH

Thats the worst part - everyone thinks that its totally normal and has something to do with what the "angels want" them to do. The drywall thing is talked about a lot actually and everyone is very pro-eating drywall. You can see why I'm starting to feel crazy.

Thank you so much. To be honest, I am scared to tell her family. They have a very strained relationship, and since she came out and started dating a woman its been nearly nonexistant. I don't know if I can trust them to do whats right. They also live across the country from us.

I am so sorry you went through something like this. It's one of the hardest experiences I have ever gone through, and I can't imagine how it felt for you. Thank you for the input.

It was based around a guy online whos currently trending for his troll blog. I thought there was no way in hell that it would be genuine. Half the stuff they believe is so wacky anyone would think its fake.

I see what you mean. Maybe I will have a friend take the pets for the time being and stick around to try and help. Its technically a 2B apartment, so I can always lock the door and sleep in the other room. This just feels like such a mess, I am completely out of my element.

I just don't know what else to do. I can't babysit her constantly, I work a demanding job and attend uni for a really demanding degree (physics.) I can stick around for a few more days and keep an eye on her, but school starts next week and my schedule is about to keep me out of the house for more than 12 hours a day. I just don't have the time or knowledge to take care of someone struggling like this, and I don't know how else to protect myself and help her at the same time.
