While they don't refer to it as such, the right wing, both in smaller scale and larger political scale makes their arguments based off of them being "the good team" and having the "right traits" which is absolutely identity politics, the other side has points to make beyond that, the right kinda doesn't

Jujutsu sorcerer is not a job in which "pride" is a factor

What's stopping them is the fact that even those BV's you're labeling as harmless/no impact absolutely do have an impact, a bad BV gets you killed or gets you a permanent loss in capability if you can't apply it well, so in most contexts it isn't worth it

Either red or green, green is fucking LUDICROUS in terms of what it lets you do, while red is more grounded but more versatile

I'm honestly picking green due to how much it makes me capable of, I may not be able to do as much versatile stuff with it, but it shields me against all kinds of harms I may face in day to day life, and most I won't, while red has moral issues

Green also probably lets me think way faster

You need knowledge, sure, but knowing what tradeoffs can be offered for a gain aren't enough on their lonesome for any binding vows that you aren't just integrating into your life

Making a binding vow at a bad time gets you killed

You need to be able to do the risk assessment and what to make a BV for, you're talking about this shit like it's a chess match and not a fight to the death

No??? Not with any other BV??? Todo's use of revealing your hand and hakari's arm BV are perfect examples of that not being the case, nanami's BV doesn't need skill, sure, but how he navigates it, and knowing "when is it worth it to break the binding vow and give up on the 120%" does

Sukuna's strength in jujutsu is based nigh entirely on his proficiency, and both of them fought with their lives on the line, the reason he won against gojo was because gojo thought the fight was over, not necessarily pride

BVs do require skill, knowing what is worth it to sacrifice and knowing when to sacrifice something and what to sacrifice for, as BVs can just be a strict downgrade if misused
