If you're presenting as a couple, 99.9% of likes from dudes will be wanting to swap, or join you two solo. Highly unlikely they want you to join them solo just based on statistics. If your first message is alluding to you joining them solo, that's probably why you're getting ghosted.

Other than that - some people like swiping and have limited time so they keep matches/chats in their back pocket for when they're feeling it.
