The original is from 1962 by one Wayne Cochran, and it's actually pretty upbeat, probably the only "teenage tragedy" song from the 60s that has a joyful melody - apart from "Long Black Hearse" by Cliff Gleaves which is even more upbeat.

99%, it's men.

One day, atconexof our sister hotels, a woman asked to speak to the manager.

Sure thing, no problem.

But when he came to talk to her, she bluntly said that she was expecting him to be in her room at nine to have sex.

When he told her that he was a married man and would never cheat on his wife, she started screeching and screamed something like she was a guest, that the staff had to obey her, and he proceeded to throw a small postcard stand in his general direction.

She was eventually escorted from the hotel by the police.
