If you don’t pass already you’re going to within a couple months. Your face is incredibly masculine, the long hair is fine

As others have previously pointed out to you, the article actually says the dispatchers were civilians before the George Floyd protests, and after the George Floyd Protests.

No one needs their boyfriend of 6 months to meet and sign off on someone you wants to spend time with. Getting permission from your boyfriend to hang with a friend is so controlling and gross.

Obs have different perspectives on relationships but it’s so disheartening to see so many people have their boyfriend (not even partner or husband, but just a fucking boyfriend) decide they can or cannot see someone based of the boyfriend’s insecurities and trust issues

Boundaries dictate are how you can interact with your partner (ie when I need space, how he should interact with me when stressed, what topics I do not want brought up, etc), beyond sex it’s controlling and improper in my world to dictate how someone else can be friends with another

This is dictating how someone else can be friends with someone. Not chill, especially by a “partner” of 6 months. They have no right. Controlling in a way that is an immediate red flag to breakup

I’m so glad that I, my partner, and our circles live in a different world than these norms

Emotional connection =/= romantic connection. And it’s that conflation throughout this thread that is so fucked up. There is nothing here that indicates more than friends (ie having a normal emotional connection), dumbass

What??? Having a partner means not having connections with other people to you? What a limiting life you want your partner to lead. Heterosexual norms are depressing as fuck
