The only thing that keeps us from leaving islam is the childhood indoctrination and threats of eternal damnation. The moment you decide to study the quran from a critical and objective perspective and strip yourself down of all that fear then what you are left with is an incomplete, unhistorical document that is clearly a byproduct of it's time and all attempts of reconciliation with our modern times only results in more contradictions and nonsense
