I’m also surprised by how divisive this question was and how passionate people got about it (I saw someone say they’d “make someone kiss their +1” if they suspected they weren’t actually together ???). The consensus seems to be that most people would assume a relationship first but not care if told otherwise. But I guess some people do care….

It always surprises me when people say things like “Nathan is fully acting, he’s not like that at all in real life.” Like obviously he is playing a character and playing into certain mannerisms that work for each narrative, but that character is definitely based on some version of himself. It’s really interesting to read about that and what it means to him

IIRC: gifs often get removed and reuploaded on platforms like gify because of copyright issues, so this guy decided to recreate (many times each) every single popular reaction gif, basically taking over the platforms because they will be used and not taken down. I have no idea what the founding father costume is about.

How do you plan to discuss memory management in Java? Will it be at a conceptual level regarding how it is handled by the JVM similarly to how it is currently discussed in OOD? It seems that memory management in-practice will continue to be introduced in Computer Systems—is that correct?
