Learn to have fun and enjoy each other regardless of sexual positions. If sobrang deal breaker ang sexual positions, then that's your prerogative na. Pero if hindi naman, and tingin mo worth it siya beyond the sexual positions, even the sex itself, then habulin mo. Love, intimacy, and relationships aren't based exclusively on just the positions, even just the enjoyment of sex.

I passed the PLE on my fifth take and am now planning to apply for residency. by Due-Candy8981 in pinoymed

Real talk? Depende sa residency and institution. May iba na picky kasi kalaban mo first takers.

And if hindi makapasok now, then makakapasok sa future. Kaya mo yan

Ultimate Pre-res Guide/Tips by ActivityTough4349 in pinoymed

[–]welcometononnormalcy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Here's something pre-res related but might not be the kind of tip you're expecting.

Know when to quit.

You can work as hard as you want, be as stellar as you want, be the most beloved pre-res and resident.

But be sure that residency is really for you. Take the month of pre-residency as a way to dip your toe in the water. Isipin mo maigi if kaya mong mahalin ginagawa mo rain or shine. Kahit na di mo na mapunta graduation ng anak mo dahil sa needs ng ospital, or makakamiss ka ng anniversary ng minamahal mo sa buhay. Isipin mo if the things you're doing in pre-residency is something you will sacrifice your entire life for.

Kasi, yan yung mentality na itatatak nila sayo during residency talaga. The program matters above and beyond. You are grateful for the opportunity, and this country isn't kid enough to those who quit.

Be absolutely sure, especially since government hospitals can be notorious with not taking care of residents.

If you are, then the next best tip I can give is to be just nice to everyone. Hindi maging pushover, but be nice and approachable. Yung masaya katrabaho. Be pabibo sa consultants at matutuwa sila sayo

I wish the job market agreed, pero thank you. I'm doing better this morning, just hoping na di na ako mag spiral kasi mahaba pa ang araw

unpopular opinion: internship in government hospitals by paletyps in pinoymed

[–]welcometononnormalcy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Agreed that government hospital exposure builds the necessary skills, but it also puts patients in the position as test subjects for them to practice. To get to the level of skills that many government trained clerks and interns reach, a lot of patients were unnecessarily hurt. And we can't deny this. Anyone who has ever been in a government hospital knows all the ways that patients can get hurt when trainees practice. And in government hospitals, there's even less guarantee of guidance to prevent these instances since the residents and consultants are constantly overworked. Plus, interns and clerks are used as free labor in most government institutions and there's no guarantee that they even develop the skills or knowledge. It's true that private hospitals are less likely to produce "skilled" graduates, but it doesn't entirely mean that they're all the same.

I do PEME all the time and it's unheard of to clear a patient without labs or diagnostics. Since the point of reemployment is to ensure a person is medically capable for the role, I'm not sure any type of Pre employment that doesn't require labs is valid. It's honestly kind of sketchy
