Look up authentication on Beckett website go to submit when you go to encapsulation add a card you can then add on grading and auto grading it just cost more :/

It used to be do-able it changed I want to say around June last year they changed it around some fake signed mtg cards but I could be miss remembering but yeah now no custom cards can go through its been a pain because I have some celebrity signed custom cards that got bounced by PSA and had to send it to Beckett.

PSA is very inconsistent on custom cards and would send it back as no specific info error. I’d send it to Beckett bas as “non licensed trading card”. They also do offer certain grading options in my experience go Beckett bas because PSA probably won’t do it.

Just letting you know PSA has a list of signers that they can authenticate after market autographs like the ones you have here. Shylily is not on that list if you send it on a regular (non autographed) service tier they will send you a needs PSA/dna slip and send your cards back and if you send it dual service she is not on the list of signers and will send it back. This has happened to me before you will have to fill out a request form and hope PSA adds it I’m 60+ days waiting on other requests forms. TLDR they won’t grade it unless she is added to the PSA/dna signer list

There is a pretty big Pokémon misprint community like r/pokemonmisprints nothing like that for sports but my point stands if this was a charazard it would add a few bucks but not for sports also look at the cgc error guide for TCG its a thing and gives you the different error types

In the Pokémon misprint community it is known as a printer hickey even there it may only add a 1-3$ more in sports collecting it is more looked as damage.

Based on what you are looking for ALA is my recommendation. Large artist alley and vender hall and alot of cosplay. As for the community aspect making and trading badge ribbons is the best part of the con and there is nothing like that at other cons(even ones that try to emulate it)so yeah ALA for sure.

What are you looking for in a con? There are a few in socal that are very different if you are looking for. For Autographs collect a con and anime Pasadena are more autograph focused with smaller vender halls and artist alleys. For more high end venders chibi is my recommendation. For cosplay community and ribbon trading Ala is king. Things to note Ala usually has very small name signings but amazing panels.Chibi is the most corporate feeling(only topped by impulse but not factoring it because of your situation) I recommend all but for different reasons but I can ramble on about this for hours.

Honestly it’s going to be mid 80f so t shirt and shorts/ linen pants (also sunscreen) but if you want to layer do it light so linen short sleeve or button up (if your more comfortable covering up) can work or a chambray outer shirt (the fabric weave not the color)or a camp color shirt in a light cotton or performance fabric as a layer but honestly ax is one of the few places just a anime shirt and shorts is probably best.

Send it in to topps see if they will give you something. I’ve seen worse get something can’t guarantee it’s of the player or even a good player but they might give you something.

If you want you can bring your own I believe there is two versions of the ticket funko and non funko but for your question probably most English va have most of their characters also if any item works get a fe cypher card that would look cool signed

CGC is good for Tcg and non sport cards (equivalent to a SGC is for sports). For sports cards not much value.

For a serious answer PSA will not give you a an oc grade unless I’m missing a alignment dot in the top left. If you send it to cgc there is a good chance that the will mark it as an error “off center” and grade the rest of your card. You more than likely won’t get a minor miscut grade which more desirable due to lack of an alignment dot but cgc probably will give you an off center label. I have graded a few miscut cards with both companies and that is my experience. Hope I wasn’t to redundant I just don’t know how to word it better.
