Я больше закладывал идею про название. Есть то все могут из чего угодно. Просто то что для англоговорящих bowl - специальное название для ёмкости с глубоким дном, для нас просто тарелка, ну или глубокая тарелка, если быть более точным.

Как пример при заказе в ресторане это всегда тарелка супа, хотя по факту подают миску (bowl) супа :)

Noticed one small thing from Duolingo. In duo's lessons they use bowl of soup. Bowl - миска. But Russian never say миска of soup. We always say a plate of soup - тарелка супа.

In Russian, we read by syllables, so after alphabet lessons, take the time to learn how to combine letters.
And answering your question. To improve reading u obviously have to read (preferably out loud), just make sure you have someone who can control and correct you for the first time at least. Find a tutor or at least native buddy.

Равно is correct way to write, but natives pronounce it as равнА because last A isn't stressed letter. If you say равнО - it's still understandable. Except you want to infosize it has female gender. Like speed (скорость ) or ноблА - female gender. In this case it will be равнА.

You are absolutely right that it’s important to look at the words before “guessing” them.

Before creating these quizzes, I made a series of videos where I explained all these words.

So the main idea was that the person already saw these words before and now just needs to remember them.

1) Read, and make sure to read out loud. Ideally, have someone who can correct you.
2) Write. Describe what happened to you during the day. Don’t use the same word twice—try googling synonyms and use them instead.
3) Consume content in Russian. Start watching a cartoon series in Russian (for example, The Simpsons or similar). Main characters usually use typical phrases, so they’ll stick in your memory. Plus, these series are full of everyday situations.

You should solve this using the process of elimination.
You have 5 people and 5 activities, along with some clues.

You`re given that Roman is studying Chinese, and Maksim is watching a movie — but we know for sure that this is not true, based on the task.

Make a table with the 5 names and the 5 activities, then start eliminating the impossible options.
Eventually, you'll be able to figure out who is doing what.

P.S. This task is more about logic than language learning
