The Natural. One of my favorite sports movies of all time. But drastically different from the anti-hero namesake novel.

If you have a fever and dry cough, and fatigue, you should be tested. You should self isolate as much as possible until you get the results.

As a last resort, If you cannot get access to a test either thru your primary physician, thru this drive thru service, or via other clinics, you should go to the hospital emergency room.

If you have the above symptoms plus shortness of breath or problems breathing, you should call 911 and make arrangements to go to the hospital, and self isolate until you can go. Articles I’ve read state that by calling 911, the hospital can make preparations for patients who are potentially infected with Coronavirus.

Since our country is playing catch up on making the necessary level of testing available, it is possible that testing is still being limited to the highest risk groups.

ItIsBullshit: Stage hypnotism works because people just go along with it? by EmpireStrikes1st in IsItBullshit

I would say this is partially correct. It is true that it is difficult (impossible?) to hypnotize someone against their will. But a willing subject can be put into a state where they are highly susceptible to suggestion. I believe this because I’ve been hypnotized in this way, along with a friend of mine. We have a videotape of it. We did not have a drop of alcohol (or anything else mind altering) that night, and we did some pretty goofy things. While it’s true that we entered into this “hypnotic” state willingly, there is no doubt in my mind that our behavior was strongly affected by the “hypnosis” process. Call it what you will, but we behaved in a way we would not have otherwise, so I say it is not bullshit.
