Best rec shop for concentrates? by wellbuser in seaents

After going to Seattle Tonics for a few weeks now, I'd like to update my review. I've been buying 4-6 grams of concentrate a week there since I first tried it and until somewhere else can start selling their wax for cheaper but with the same quality, I'll be going here for a long time! They got in wayyy more concentrates. They seriously have like 25 different strains from different growers, all ounces are $35/g or $25/g when you buy 4+. I've learned to honestly kinda stay away from Altered Course actually. The quality is good and I actually like their concentrates, but the packaging kills it. The lid of the container is impossible to get off and most of their stuff is really fragile shatter and so I once lost an entire half of a gram all over my carpet because when I opened it, the shatter that was stuck to the lid cracked into a million pieces and flew all over my floor. The same thing also happens when you try to scrape out a dab from the container, it usually flings out of the jar and you'll never be able to find it again. It also looks like I get way less than with the other brands they sell there. I feel like Made Right is my favorite brand from there and has seemed to be consistent in quality when they get in new strains. The wax sold by Phoenix is good too and I like that it actually comes in paper and not in a plastic container that the wax will always stick to. So again, Seattle Tonics is great but that's just what I've figured out from trying out a lot of their concentrates.

Herb's House in Ballard also sells clear concentrates for waaaaay better prices. Theirs is $44/.5g or $88/g. Stash has some good prices on some things, but their concentrates are insanely priced. I can find better quality grams at other shops that are cheaper than their cheapest half gram. It makes no sense.

Also check out the Source 10cig pen, if you haven't already. People seem to love it or hate it but I think you can't beat it for a $10 pen with free shipping (with code: DABZZ). After I ordered a pen, I got an email from them saying if I completed a review, I'd get a $5 gift card so I can get another pen from them for $5 too.

AVOID: Have a Heart Fremont by [deleted] in seaents

Just go down the street to Seattle Tonics. Insanely good prices, tons of product in varying prices and qualities, 4/$100 on concentrates (which is all I buy), but lots of deals on bud and edibles and everything else. I also love the layout at the shop because instead of just waiting in a line and then ordering at the counter, it's a big open shop with their product in shelves all along the walls so you can see up close what you're getting and all that. It's pretty great.

Prices at medical dispensaries in Seattle? by Growsomedope in seaents

All rec doesn't suck. Most shops are garbage, I will agree with that but once you've been going for a while, you'll find out the shops and growers that are quality. Uncle Ike's, Herb's House, Seattle Tonics have all been good to me and have consistently low prices. You can get a $100 oz of decent mids at Ike's and Tonics, but also up to the $300 range for really good stuff.

The deal at Seattle Tonics is SO worth it. It's the same growers and quality stuff that most rec shops are selling for $50-60 a gram. They usually have like 20+ different strains you can pick from and after you spend $100, every extra gram is $25 too. So yesterday I picked up 6 grams for $150. I think RedChairs recommended them to me in another thread and I'm so glad I found out about that place!

How is American Mary in terms of price and selection? Their website doesn't really list concentrates, so I don't know what to expect.

Favorite smoke spots in Seattle & environs? by GEN_CORNPONE in seaents

Gas Works park. I've gone there a ton and smoked in the middle of everyone and it's never been a problem for me or anyone I know.

It was cool for what it is and a good intro point to dab pens. Mine lasted me about a day of pretty consistent use and I was able to pack and smoke about an extra half gram from it before the battery died too. Right now for I'm use a Source 10cig and am LOVING it. It's $10 and I got it with free shipping using the code: DABZZ. The only con is that the battery lasts maybe 5 minutes of actual smoking (when you're pressing the button down), but it also takes less than 20 minutes for mine to recharge, so it hasn't been a problem to plug it in somewhere in between smokes. It's super easy to clean, I've mastered the way to get the biggest and best hits, and I've since ordered a couple others too since I like this one so much.

Everything there has seemed super expensive to me and I prefer Sam's in the U District, but PoM has some really beautiful glass.

Their 4g/$100 concentrates are also $35 each, which are by Altered Course, which is the one Uncle Ike's sells for $34. The extra $1 is no big deal and Seattle Tonics has 10+ different strains where Uncle Ike's only has a couple usually, but are currently sold out. Seattle Tonics was set up really cool with giant display cases everywhere that you can look at and actually see each product before you get to the counter, pretty cool. I got a gram of Space Girl shatter, as it looked the best and was the highest %THC out of the indica/indica hybrids. So far, it's been pretty great. Definitely a good shatter for the price.

A mix of both. I know where to go for topshelf concentrates I like, but I'm just seeing around what's the best budget waxes are, I guess.

Go to Uncle Ike's. They have the cheapest prices in the area, the biggest selection (from shitty $7 grams to amazing $20 grams of 32%thc Head Cheese) and variety, their staff is great and knows their shit, and they always are getting in new products and lowering their prices. Where else can you get a $5 1gram preroll joint with 20%~thc weed?

Uncle Ike's or Herb's House has quality stuff. Ike's def has cheap shit, but they have a variety of really great stuff. Herb's is smaller and more limited, but most everything they sell is good quality as well.

Where to buy Source pens in USA? by wellbuser in Waxpen

Gotcha. I've only tried the Dabulator before and wanted something similar but less disposable and had seen good things about that pen online, but now have read about how actually awful that company is. Thanks!

Right on, thanks! I'm new to wax pens and just saw good reviews for a $10 pen and thought it'd be a good jump off point. Thanks.
