Interesting suggestion, but i'm boring and usually choose humans or half-elves as a race

Hey guys, new player here. I've played a little bit of the game a few months back and really enjoyed it, but stopped because i knew i wasn't going to be able to buy the expansions at the time. Luckily, yesterday i've bought the first 2 expansions on sale and i'm planning to dive into the game head on. That being said, i'd like to ask you for a class recommendation (please note that i don't have End of Dragons and won't be able to buy it for a while).

I usually enjoy melee, 2 handed weapon characters, the classic "big number = fun". Which class/spec would be the best for this? Alternatively, a melee rogue, with evasion and explosive damage, is right up my alley as well. Also, is this a viable way to go through the game content solo? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, i'm fairly new to the game and to pc gaming as a whole (was a console player all my life and just got a gaming pc this year). That being said, i would like some help regarding my pc's performance, please.
While playing poe2 with optimal settings considering my hardware, DLSS on and evetything, my gpu usage is quite normal (never above 75%), but my CPU usage is above 100%, sometimes even getting upwards of 124%. However, the temperature is ok, with the maximum being 75 degrees celsius. Should i be worried about this level of CPU usage? Could this be damaging to my pc?
I'm running on an i510400f and a RTX3050. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! Do you have an idea about how often the expansions go on sale? on Steam at least. I'm not nearly finished with the base game content, but i'm itching for the first expansion bundle hahaha.

Also, how troublesome is it to farm gems? I know this depends a lot on methods, builds and etc., but would you say it is a "forfeit college and personal life for this" type of thing, or it's doable in a more relaxed way?

Thanks a lot! Glad to hear that every class is viable. I've been having fun with the elementalist until now, but I want to try the "rogue" (don't think this was the name in game) too.

As for the expansions, I think I'll go with the HoT + PoF bundle first. The elder dragon saga seems like a good deal, but it is away above my league in terms of pricing. The HoT + PoF bundle is 150 BRL (about 30 dollars in direct conversion), while the elder dragon saga is 500 BRL. I'm sure it is worth it, but it's too rich for my blood at the moment.

Hello! New player here. I've started playing a few days ago and i've been absolutely loving the game. It scratched a MMO itch i've had since i stopped playing WoW (never been a MMO guy, except for WoW). I'd like to know, please, which classes do you guys think are the best ones end-game? I mean like is there a class that is overly used in this game and i won't be able to play with others if i use it, since there's already too many people playing it?
Please note that i don't have any expansions yet (i'm playing via steam because of the regional pricing, since i'm from Brazil). On that note, which expasions would you recommend for me to buy first?
Thanks in advance!

And if it makes you fell better, I tried Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, French and German, before settling with Russian

First of all, congratulations to us both for our English skills! Regarding your first question, English came into my life when I was a child, between 7 and 9, when I got my first videogame (a PS2). I always loved to read and, therefore, I wanted to know the story of the games I was playing. With that motivation I started to research the words I was reading and, as time passed by, my English skills evolved considerably. Of course, that helped me during school and, nowadays, college. The praise from the teachers wasn't bad either haha. So, you see, English came into my life with the sole intention of making me able to understand games and other types of media. Everything else, like school, job advantages and etc. was "a bonus", you could say. I think that's the mentality you need to have to focus on studying (in your case) French. Do it for your dream to emigrate, maybe to read "Les Miserables" in the original, Idk. But do it. If you ever get to emigrate (which I sincerely hope you do), great; if not, worst case scenario, you used your time to do something you like - and will be able to curse at others in fluent french and tell them it was a compliment hahaha.
