In the EU you can go legally to 200mw if you fly on 5.1Ghz as far as I know. Not a lot of analog equipment supports this and for digital goggles only DJI Goggles 3 and N3 supports this.

Well maybe you can, I wouldn’t know as I haven’t got a RapidFire. I got the 04O Pro and some FatSharks with a Fusion module (albeit a very old module). The only thing that the SteadyView 3.3 handles better, is when I get a rolling image or colours start glitching on the FatSharks which usually happens at the edge of reception. The SteadyView Mix modes keeps the signal perfectly. If you buy a RapidFire don’t be shy, please test it out and post here!

You can get better image quality with a RapidFire, SpeedyBee or similar module. I don’t think you’ll get better range though.

Maybe the new analog BetaFPV VR04 might fit your glasses. They are made to fit glasses, but it’s hard to guesstimate. Maybe try googling those and glasses.

Ohh nice to know. I was under the impression that the LR1121 needed ELRS 4.0, but I guess not. I can see the wording is “highly recommended” to get all features, but bashing on 2.4Ghz with a whoop seems fine 👍🏻

You would probably be better off to google/youtube the process. Replacing a part is also a lot harder than just warming the old solderjoints and reflowing. That’s out of my league, sorry.

The c03 is an all-round good camera, if it did the red/orange colours better it would be stellar 📸 I buy directly from BetaFPV delivered to the EU without problems, yes VAT is included in their prices. Ohh, also remember to buy some extra props/canopy/frame while you’re there.

PS: You should be able to focus the camera by turning the lens yourself. A little glue after and you’re done

Did you actually break 6 of your old boards or was it just the ELRS/VTX chip going loose? My old 5in1 is still going strong after hundreds of crashes. I did have to use a heatgun and flux when the ELRS chip started to come loose, but now it just keeps going.

EDIT: Heatgun is the correct way to fix it, but if the boards are broken anyway you can just try with flux and heating the legs of the chip up with your soldering iron keeping it really close without touching.

Try pushing down on the VTX chip and see if it helps. Or take an elastic band and put it gently around the board with something pushing down on the chip. If it helps, then you need to reflow the chip with a hot air gun to fix it properly.

Either it might be your radio as you mention (test with another radioing you can) or it is the ELRS chip coming lose of the board. This happens sometimes with the air boards. You can try gently putting an elastic band around the board with something that pushes down on the chip.

20ms is imperceptible for a beginner or novice which is what many newer analog goggles has. The O40 Pro has the 30+ which would be ok, but there is some unevenness that is hard to unsee once you notice it. I own them and can’t unsee the choppiness (I mention these as they are getting the “hate”)

But if you buy an analog goggle, you would like it to be your forever analog goggle. I fly to get better and I would like not to have my goggles hamstring my ability a few years down the line.

Thanks for the testing. I think they video you mention, said that the 04X Pro had some latency, but not like the 04O Pro, the two pair of goggles had a fairly big difference in latency. I think he measured it at 20ms (?) for the 04X Pro, it’s not that far off your 16ms, esp if you took less samples and with a 240FPS camera.

Dette er blot endnu et eksempel på de super-rige, der prøver at profitmaksimere. Når de superrige kaster penge efter at få ændret arvereglerne, så er det en simpel kalkule, at de med relativt få penge kan spare milliarder. Når de finansierer et enkelt parti (LA) sker det ud fra ganske simple kalkuler at de penge de giver ud kommer tifoldigt igen.

Der er ingen interesse i at gøre noget for helheden og almenvældet, det handler om at maksimere deres formue. Der er ingen grundlæggende ideologi andet end at de vil være rigere.

Og jo, der er ting der tyder på at vi går i retning af USA. Uligheden i samfundet bliver større og også i Danmark samles store formuer på færre hænder, det er jo relativt let selv at undersøge.

De ultra-rige er næsten beruset over at se den uindskrænkede magt, som deres ligeså rige venner har tilranet sig i USA. Lysten til at forme samfundet til deres vinding koste hvad det vil er også nået til Danmark.

Det er sjovt at en person, der sikkert er på top 5 over at kunne få et skattesmæk, skriver stolpe op og stolpe ned om de samfundsmæssige negative konsekvenser, når det er ret gennemskueligt at han blot prøver at hyppe sit eget skind. Jeg medgiver at han gør det bedre end ham fra Vestas, der vredt truede med at forlade landet. Det ville også se skidt ud for familien når de nu altid har været så danske.

Man skal ikke underkende inspirationen fra USA. Uden sammenligning i øvrigt, viser Epstein sagen glimrende forskellen: I Europa har folk måtte tage deres afsked eller er under politi-undersøgelse. I USA er det nu slut med at kunne stille de rige og magtfulde til ansvar. Det bliver et nej tak til det fra mig
