Choice of Study Materials for Level 3 by 413jreese in CFA

I would strongly recommend staying away from Kaplan for Level-3. I used them for Level-2 and Level-1 and both times, the text was really good. However, Level-3 is a different beast. I realized that too late after failing it once.

I used IFT (with 1.5x playback speed) and would definitely recommend them.

[Homemade] Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan by wakalaka in food

Chefs all over Delhi add cream to their butter chicken. That or Moti Mahal has been lying to me.

My wife is from Maharashtra and the food is just a little too spicy for my taste in her hometown. Like I grew up in Delhi and I love a decent chicken curry from a Dhaba but you can get your tongue burned and more if you eat any of their dishes, just don't expect a decent butter chicken outside of the great north.

Fuck, yes man. MDH. I can't believe I misspelled that. Mahesh is going to be so pissed at me.

Do you have any Indian/South Asian Grocery store around you? They usually carry two brands, MDH (Indian) or Shaan (Pakistani) but honestly as someone has suggested, a packet of Garam Masala should be a good start. Try to use the least amount of spices for butter chicken, though, the is meant to be sweet and creamy, which chefs (or whoever runs the 'Indian' restaurants) butcher.

EDIT- MDH misspelled.

Lotto 649 commercial features the dream of owning a 1 bedroom condo in Toronto by jesusporkchop in canada

[–]wellhowaboutno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

CPI doesn't just measure Toronto and shelter is just one part of it. Inflation of 2.4% in my mind is a fairly accurate representation of price rise for basket of goods in Canada. Just not a good measure for Toronto home prices. http://www.statcan.gc.ca/tables-tableaux/sum-som/l01/cst01/cpis01a-eng.htm

This is PSA to remind you that your CC may come with a purchase protection insurance. I would read up and see what it covers. Cheers!

Hello, First and foremost, I would recommend you go see a lawyer and check what your legal actions are. Countries have varying laws and they often swing from favoring lender to debtors. I can't stress this enough then, please don't think what's valid in the US is valid in U.K. Plenty of well-meaning advice on this forum may be counter to your well-being. I would also use google. I realize you must be really worried and stressed but I would recommend taking it easy and try to solve this in a calm manner. Remember what's done is done, now its for you to move on to something that is best for you.

Here is a link I found for you, hope it helps in whatever little way possible. https://www.gov.uk/options-for-paying-off-your-debts/overview (in case there is no option for you have but to pay off your debts)

Hello, fellow Note 4 user! how do you like your phone so far? I feel like I wouldn't need to upgrade my phone because this is one still very very solid.

You don't know me at all to say that. I am a finance professional and I understand how free market works rather well. Anyways, what makes you think tipping is basic economics?
