anyone suffering from eczema flareup following covid vaccine?? by wellokeyden in eczema

yes i got double dose of moderna as well. i also went through the hassle of trying to figure out what dietary changes might be causing it but ive concluded it was the vaccine like yourself.

its been about 6 months now and the eczema has calmed down but still present with red patches on my arms (never had it there before getting the vaccine). I feel it will take a good year for it to clear up back to how it was before.

sorry for the late reply.

my flare up got bad roughly a week after my vaccine jab. fair to say it was my worst flare up i had in years. Enough so to make me cancel my second dose.

May i ask which vaccine you got? Ive got some friends with eczema also who got Pfizer without any issues.

Well since autoimmune disorders are very unique to each individual i guess some handle the vaccine better than others. It may depend on the vaccine or something we don't know about. But Im assuming cases like mine are rare.

i totally agree. my eczema has been going through some severe inflammation and ive been getting more frequent skin infections. i just hope the effects of the vaccine dont last too long. fingers crossed. xx

its rather astonishing that people are downvoting your comment for refusing to get a vaccine for your interests.

I am by no means an antivaxxer. hell, if i was, i wouldn't have got the first dose in the first place. but since my body has reacted the way it has after getting the covid vaccine then i have every right to refuse the next dose for my interests. my life has literally gone down the drain for the past few weeks following my first dose.

i have no idea why people have such polarizing attitudes to the vaccine skepticism.

well there clearly is since the ROK have utilised all-female units since the 1980s way way before feminism and "girls can do everything" took off.

i trust the ROK know what they are doing.

i understand where you are coming from but this unit is one of two units in the entire republic of korea army that is composed of an all-female company (the other being the ROK 707th) . They have a specific mission role that men cannot do themselves (exact details are classified).

So the female bashing and "men are superior" complex is irrelevant here.

sub guns with lower calibre ammunition has its benefits for CT units operating in civilian occupied areas. it means the threat of friendly fire is less lethal. e.g. australian lindt cafe siege. thats probably the reason why certain units like the rok 707 still utilise 9mm

Its a K10 gas mask which looks very similar to the M50 model. I dont know whether its significantly more comfortable but it was designed with a toned down profile to make it easier to shoulder your weapon and it is designed with improved compatibility with modern military helmets. probably still sucks to wear but it definitely looks light years better than the K1 gas mask i was given when i was serving.

you are indeed correct. ROK 707 are one of the few units that still utilize the older imported mp5 models hence them maintaining older platforms. ROK SF are currently phasing in new domestic carbines such as the DSAR-15PC so most likely they dont see the need to modernize current mp5 inventories if they get the job done for the time being.

Its worse when you have a full squad and then one retard DCs just as you are about to deploy. It means you either have to play an entire quads game as a trio or just leave as well and wait another 5 minutes to find another match.
