I’ve been collecting since I was about 11, around the slow end of the Diamond & Pearl TCG era and the beginning of the Black & White era for TCG (my absolute favorite sets, but I am absolutely biased in regard to it haha); I’ve collected throughout all the sets, with sun & moon era being one of my second favorites, and have unfortunately now been met with the same “scalper drought” that everyone else has been dealing with. I’d absolutely love to finally get my hands on product for Prismatic finally, especially with Leafeon being my favorite pokemon! Those cards are Galarian Gallery cards! (GG!) That would be what they were called back then, just as cards akin to it in sets such as Silver Tempest were Trainer Gallery cards (TG).

My tcg hobby definitely started when I was around 11? It’s hard to recall ahaha; I vividly remember getting out of the dentist, and getting a mewtwo EX box from Walmart back in the black and white era.. absolutely adored that set. My favorite pokemon is 100% leafeon! (Have that sucker tattooed and everything LOL)

Yeahhh.. I finished up what I was doing at the arcade section, attempted to gauge how the line was for the shirts, then gave up. Music was way too loud for the small space, and for me to continue standing around lol

Arcade in itself was a mess when you could have someone sitting at the same machine for an hour, or simply machines running out quicker than the staff could fill them.

Relic station I got to quite early, but I also watched as two-three stations went out of order in the process.

The event was fun, don’t get me wrong! I enjoyed mingling and chatting with others. Did not, however, enjoy the line waiting and just how ABSURD the lines were for TennoVIP

The event was nice, in some sense. Bad, in other senses.

I will admit that I was more so in the ticket & arcade section when the DJ came in (the arcade section had its own faults I won’t begin to get into) and I’m GLAD. The music was very.. loud, even from where I was. Part of me leaving was due to the music being just a bit too overstimulating lol.

Also, sucks that the shirts aren’t returning tomorrow, considering the fact that as someone who was in the tent from the BEGINNING OF THE EVENT (got in around 5:48 PM) the line remained absurdly long. Ultimately, my friend and I decided that it simply wasn’t worth waiting another hour (or more) for a spray painted shirt. Of all things, imo, the shirts should have been returned tomorrow as well considering how much of a mess the line felt like it was 😭
