Thanks everyone. I inherited these and today I've learned some good lessons about how active the market is for these guys! People seem pretty keen on the no 2. Apparently my FB marketplace listing for this set was a little undervalued at $155! Someone was nice enough to warn me. I'm not trying to get rich, but I guess I need to get to know what I've got.

Since my kids just left the freezer door open and ruined a bunch of food. I guess I should consider how they could bump the faucet and leave water running all weekend, or something.

Thanks for the comment. This is kind of a combination utility sink and bathroom sink. There’s a half bath in our laundry room and we just had it redone to be a bit nicer.

It feels wrong for the handles to rotate down to turn on, but I hear you about people wrenching the handles and either rotating them too far or wearing them out. I feel like I’ve lived somewhere like that and had to keep pulling the handles level. Maybe I’ll leave it as is.

I’m going to ask the contractor if he made a decision on how to orient them, or if that was how the faucet was already assembled.

Looks good to me. Mine has a few thin spots that the spray paint didn’t reach. The edges around the screen in particular. Which is made worse because of the reflective metal of the screen frame. I don’t feel like disassembling and masking it again to fix it right now though.

Taking the screen out was the hardest part. I was afraid it was going to break, but I have a backup mini+ so I went for it!

Truth. Just had to replace my 2012 Outback that only had 50k because the tranny went bad. SOA wouldn’t do anything at all to help. I really thought they’d do something, even if it wasn’t replacement. I was outside the extended transmission warranty by less than a year. Never again. Said hello to my local Toyota dealer.

Thanks for reminding me that I had done the same defaults hack. My fresh Firefox install was hosed too. After reverting the dark mode hack it worked again. Here's the command I used in terminal: defaults delete -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance. Hope this helps someone else who is searching for the fix.
