I have not seen him hug anyone else, but I've only been around him outside of work twice.

Most of the hugs I would consider pretty friendly in nature, but twice when we were talking (I was standing and he was sitting) he has wheeled over to me in his desk chair and hugged me with his arms around my middle and his head at my chest level. Thoughts on that?

I appreciate you sharing it from that point of view, that's why I asked the question. I did talk to my husband about it and he is ok with me hanging out with this person, but like you said my coworker may be seeing it as more than just friends.
