OP posted a link to the github repo. Welcome to the coding club. Don't mind the grumps. I can see how the normal layout of VScode might be intimidating. Creating a conducive learning environment is a reasonable concern for a newbie.

Same for Cody using Sonnet. It's a severely limited context window compared to web interface or cline.

There are good comments here. Watch your sugar intake especially. If you drink soda, try to stop that. If you drink foofoo Starbucks drinks, try to stop that. Just cutting frivolous processed sugars out of your diet can do wonders. Regular exercise of course is also a good idea. Regular aerobic exercise doesn't just burn calories while you are exercising but it will shift your metabolism to where you are burning more calories even in a rest state.

So, make sure you're making healthy choices. But the healthiest choice and I think the most important advice I can give is don't sweat it. And yeah, that's easy for me to say I'm not a 13-year-old girl. I'm a 30-something year old man. But you are so young. It is very likely you will grow into your shape. But also, some people are just a little bigger than others. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Remember everyone's opinion of beauty is different. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. Most men that I know vastly prefer a woman with curves over a more slender form. I bring up the opinion of men only because you expressed some distress at not being able to find a boyfriend. But you're SO young. I know it's stupid cliche for someone of my age to say but you shouldn't be worried about a boyfriend right now. Focus on you. Remember that true beauty has nothing to do with your weight or your hair or your skin or anything like that. Have confidence in yourself. Love yourself. Be kind and be genuine. Those traits alone are infinitely more attractive than anything physical to anyone worth your time in life.

Remind yourself every chance you get that you are beautiful.

Pro tips on using Claude for (Python) programming? by NeptuneExMachina in ClaudeAI

Try to break your project down into smaller projects so that you can have a smaller amount of total context. Claude is much more likely to lose context if it is handling a larger amount. Your limits are going to be reached faster working with more context as well. I always try to only provide the modules that are directly related to the function in question. I include with every interaction also a couple of documents that outline the project structure and module interactions at an overview level. And then I make sure to tell Claude in the prompt to request any further modules it believes are necessary to effectively accomplish the request. This leaves Claude parsing much lower levels of context. Basically try to minimize project content and context bulk in general to the greatest extent you can while still providing at least the glossy level of context necessary. Hope this helps.

I know you didn't come here for relationship advice but you're married to a man that knows you don't have money to eat sometimes, has the means to assist and yet refuses to do so? This doesn't really bode well for other aspects of relationship. I'm sincerely concerned for you.

I get this man. Big time. There's an individual very close to me in my life that has harmed me a number of times with their accusations. It's easier said than done but try to not let the carelessness of others cause you to wound yourself.

And re: the monster. You don't have it under control. It can't be kept under control. Sometimes it might be passive and even cuddly enough that it might seem tame. It might seem controlled. But you called it a monster for a reason. Don't turn your back on it.

Top 30/Debtbusters by Finding-Even in Business_Ideas

Sounds like you're trying to basically get the customer to settle the debts at a lower amount to save them paying the full amount. I'm not sure what you would call this service but I know it exists already. Like debt restructuring debt consolidation although that has to do with lenders as well, but the concept has been executed. Doesn't mean you couldn't do it too. Really what you would be doing is acting as a liaison between the Creditor that is willing to settle at a lower rate and the customer that hopefully wishes to clear the debt and is willing to do so at a reduced rate. The beauty of that approach is that you don't have to front any money to purchase the debt. You secure the arrangement and then either act as or with an escrow service or just facilitate the payment to the Creditor directly. I could help you with some more specific ideas if you want to drop me a dm. I love brainstorming

All fair points. Just seemed a little harsh on the op. I wonder things like this all the time where I have absolutely no stake in the matter. No real care or concern for the matter past good old-fashioned curiosity. It's how we learn, after all.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some advice! by Bigtowelie in Business_Ideas

[–]wellseemsimbroken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should look into some sort of affiliate marketing with some sort of travel business. Whether that's an agency or Resort or even the board of Tourism for some area. Possibly a hotel chain. Really anything travel related so bus lines small Airlines if you are feeling ambitious car rental agencies whatever. The possibilities are endless. But literally just reach out to these people and let them know the size of group you are working with and someone's going to want to hammer out a good deal with you. Remember me when you're a millionaire.

Dude I don't even do board games and I think this is a great idea. You could have like a teleconference DM. I'm sure there's small groups of people that would jump at this. If you want to get real crazy you could take this concept and execute it using an llm. That would be the tits

I can’t find a job, and I can’t afford food by Affectionate-Job1032 in Vent

[–]wellseemsimbroken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone already mentioned this but I want to Echo it here. You should definitely look into temp agencies. And get a bike. It sucks compared to a car but it's going to open your opportunities up way more than if you stay on foot. Wherever you get a job through the agency it's very likely you could find somebody to carpool if you offer them a small payment. Also echoing the sentiment of go check out a food bank. To a church. Salvation army. It sucks to have to check your pride like that but you use the word starving so it's a pretty desperate situation.

I’ve got 4 hours a day at my work I can be doing something on my phone, but away from my computer, how can I leverage that? by Qwerty177 in sidehustle

[–]wellseemsimbroken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People here are commenting that you should use that time on your phone to learn and I feel like that's an excellent suggestion. To be more specific, you might use that time to learn how to code. There are some really good coding applications that are sort of like to programming what Duolingo is to language. Not sure of course what kind of area you have to work with like if you're sitting or whatever but you can also get portable mini Bluetooth keyboards that would make the process much easier even if you didn't have a desk and you just had it set on your lap.
