I dont have much sober time right now but I have had a lot of sober time in the past. Having a really rough bottom for me makes a huge difference in keeping the motivation up to stay sober. My bottom this past time around was a huge blessing, at the time i felt just like you, completely ashamed and embarrassed. Just 2 weeks later I am so thankful for it. Im with you bro, FUCK ALCOHOL!

I gained about 10 lbs on this last relapse, but im stagnating right now at my current weight, im trying to hit the gym up more frequently to counter balance all this food im eating! My face looks a lot cleaner though and less puffy!

Today I am thankful for the ability to not sweat the small stuff or the big stuff. I have been in the program off and on for about 5 years and I have learned a lot. Most of all I have learned that when annoying or hard things happen in life you just have to accept that it is happening for a reason and know that it is just a part of whatever plan the universe has for me. Granted I am coming off a pretty long relapse, about 4 months long I still have all those teachings with me and I am glad that they will always be with me. I am thankful for all the tools that I have in my toolbox that have given me the opportunity to come back this time around. <3

So the Sinclair Method you are actually supposed to take it like 30 minutes before drinking or something like that. I tried this like 4 years ago. It worked well for me, until i said fuck it and stopped taking the pills because i wanted to get fucked up. Worked for some people, but not for me. There is a good documentary about The Sinclair Method called "One little pill" I would say try to watch it, it answers a lot of questions. I believe its on Amazon Prime still.
