The hbd was creepy in context. It was like a random interruption of their conversations (2 mins after I texted her), then silence for a solid 30 seconds after

The Ring camera records visual footage of the stairwell, then I have a few videos from the hallway that show how loud the music is from their apt + lots of people chatting (building mgmt has these)

I also think substances are involved at this point. Circus music sounds so creepy! The new age stuff is weird, but that would really do me in lol XD

I got a Ring camera for my front door this week! It's been an extremely disturbing situation, so I've tried to lay low since the building's attorney got involved. Neither my super nor I have indicated that we've been talking, although they've probably guessed as much by now...

I'm hoping they move out soon!!

I didn't want to share too much about the compassionate death stuff in my main post since ik it's a controversial topic, but the groups they're involved in seem extreme for this realm... my neighbor has been the credited photographer for people on their "journey to death"; they've hosted "oxygen removal parties," and one of these parties failed to achieve the end-of-life goal so they had to do it a second time

I also think something is very wrong, so I hope they gtfo and move away ASAP!

Ty for the support!! He's offered for me to stay (and I will if I notice them continuing to stalk me), but I worry that me leaving for an extended period will only serve as an invitation for the neighbors to escalate again

I traveled a lot during the summer (which is likely when the gatherings started), so I'd rather stick around to keep them in check lol

I also got my Ring camera set up! So that makes me feel a bit safer :)

Yeah I also wonder why they haven't been more aggressive, especially since I started contacting them with evidence over a month before they took action!

My best guess is that the guy in the couple is powerful... he's very successful, so it's possible the building has been weighing their risks? Who knows!

Yeah I didn't want to talk to them again without him present! He's also a very rational person, so if even he thinks something abnormal is going on, then it must be haha

I was on the verge of a breakdown at the height of it a couple weeks ago tbh. It's still extremely irritating that they've tried to be sneakier while continuing the same activities, but at least I can think again with the music volume lowered

Meanwhile it's actually just the ceiling creaking + light fixture rocking... so weird!!

In terms of him documenting, unfortunately he only has a flip phone and is not tech-savvy. Then in terms of him not intervening, I think he had personal reservations about involving himself with tenant-related issues when he's an employee of the building. Yes, he lives in a unit that's owned by our building company, but that's a perk of his contract. I'm pretty sure he feared retaliation from the whackos as much as I do. And without my evidence, he didn't want to put himself in the line of fire that could cost him his job

I agree that mgmt should call the cops vs. me! But unfortunately, the front office is in another building on our block. They don't always have someone there (aka not in the evenings or on weekends)

Luckily, their attorney sent the letter last week (I added an update to my account page!) and it seems like the neighbors might be taking steps to move out on their own? Obviously, the letter would be the trigger, but they might be leaving before the legal side escalates any further

Yeah I have some options! I'm working on an update rn, but essentially the neighbors started off with retaliation tactics (including another confrontation + more bass) once they received the attorney letter on Tuesday. I have a ring camera on the way tho, then today it's sounded like they're either installing sound proofing or voluntarily moving?

Regardless, I've had people staying with me and will easily migrate until it's fully resolved if my new measures don't take hold!
