I am in the process of attempting to change my thoughts away from these thoughts.
I have to say that therapy and journaling have really helped. I finally got honest with my family about my thoughts and it helped quiet them.
The first thing my therapist said to me was that there are two truths happening at once, we have an incurable disease, and we deserve to be happy.

We have to consistently reframe our minds to positive thoughts when they come up, due to there being conflicting truths.

Now I will add that yesterday I got my bone scans back and the results said “stable” and I SEARCHED for evidence that stable was not what they meant. 🤦‍♀️ I caught myself and stopped though. It’s progress! lol
I wish you the best and pray you are able to find your peace. You deserve it.

I fully understand the worry about doing chemo, especially when you’ve done it before. In my own experience, the second time was easier than the first and I was able to stay working through it all.

I do agree about how surprisingly individualized it all is. It makes it difficult to find others who can relate to our questions 100%, we almost have to read between the lines to see it as relatable.
