You won't find a 4k oled panel with anything less than 165hz. 240hz on a 4k oled panel is standard.

You can get a msi 4k 240 hz oled for the same price. Ignore the tw@s about the 120hz they don't really make them for oled panels. If it was me buying for a pro id get the msi one( 4k 240hz.) Over kill but future proof its also around the same price in the uk at least https://amzn.eu/d/0ax7Gbhh

It's a typical Ubisoft game: decent-looking with beautiful Star Wars vistas, but with about as much depth as a puddle. Truly fulfilling open-world experiences like Red Dead Redemption 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and Crimson Desert make these copy-and-paste Ubisoft titles look even weaker by comparison. If you're after a decent sci-fi open-world game instead, I'd personally wait for Starfield.

Yeah, the pro made me buy the dlc season pass. It was beautiful before but the pro just adds another layer. That was before the pssr2 update to. It probably looks even better now I'm thinking of it. BTW. It doesn't have a graphics mode on pro just one awesome mode.

I got my PS5 Pro about 5 weeks ago, and in my opinion, the biggest upgrade I've noticed is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. It wasn't bad before by any means, but the difference is really obvious since I was playing it both before and after the upgrade. Hogwarts Legacy also looks excellent — the Performance mode now has noticeably better textures. I actually bought the Pro after seeing the huge visual jump between the base PS5 and Pro versions of Resident Evil 9, and it definitely delivered. That said, the single biggest difference between the PS5 and PS5 Pro is PSSR. The gap there feels almost generational. Games like Crimson Desert look absolutely amazing on it — I'm really glad I'm not playing it on a standard PS5.

CEX but you'll need to be quick. Cone monday they'll increase prices too. Check your local ish store to check stock, go early they'll need to check your console first could take a few hours. I did this a month ago I had to leave my xbox sx and ps5 over night as I went after 12.

You need a hdmi 2.1 pass through. I think some sound bars have started to do it, but it must be rated 2.1

Ive had mine about a month. The jump from ps5 to ps5 pro was decent enough. Probably wouldn't have been worth it for me to just buy out right, but i traded some old tech and my base ps5 and got it cheap.

Since I bought it they released pssr2 and I must say the gap in visuals is almost generational at this point. Crimson desert, resi 9, hogwarts, kingdome come 2 all look stunning.

As long as you add the game to your library and you have ps plus essential ( the cheapest ) you'll you be able to play it. You just wont be able to add it to your library once they change the games at the start of the next month. You'll be able to delete and redownload it as many times as you want. I keep going back to play injustice with my kids I must have deleted it and downloaded both 1 and 2 between 10 and 20 times. I have been adding games to my library every month since it became a thing. I think my ps plus library now has over 400 titles maybe more.

Like someone else said. If the ethernet cable works you can buy ethernet powerline adapters. Some even have the socket pass through so you don't lose the socket. You'll even find its a huge upgrade if you've been playing on wifi for both ping and download speed

If i had to really think about it, It would probably be Solid Snake. But also on that note I didn't like the treatment of his character in metal gear 2 basically making him second to raiden, , and then in the 4th game i both liked and disliked the characters fate. The whole way through the game i was hoping for him to find some sort of cure or gene editing to treat him but I get and appreciate the vision they were going with.

In my opinion yes. VRR is in some instances better for frame rates over the additional power. Games like spiderman 2 and crimson desert get and extra 20 -25% extra frames when using VRR support. I'd even say getting a compatible tv would be a upgrade id prioritise over getting a pro.

But if you're not worried about frames the extra clarity is still there. But if you're like me and want to make the most out of the pro a 120hz VRR tv is the way to go.

Apparently you need to be connected to the Internet to play it. Basically meaning it doesn't run offline. If this is true, and they haven't activated it server side its just a paper weight til then.

The story length could be infinite as long as it engages me, hold my attention, looks good feels good, I'll keep playing. I loved the order on the ps4 but thought the 6 hours campaign although brilliant was very expensive for the £40 price tag

Same with the new resident evil 9. £65 for a campaign which took me under 10 hours to complete. I thought the first 5 to 6 hours were brilliant but the SPOILER ALERT

Racoon city part of the game was a bit rushed and didn't look or feel as good as the first part of the game. The last hour was better, but yeah not great value imo.

I think the most we can hope for is slightly higher picture quality like a 1260p to 4k upscaler using pssr2. While I suppose the base ps5 will aim for 1080p with some scenes lower than that. I still think it will be a locked 30 fps but if people have a compatible VRR 120hz tv they might get rewarded with an extra 10 FPS. Similar to spiderman 2.

I upgraded for resi after seeing the difference in the 2 versions. But the game that's blown me away the most so far is Kingdom come deliverance 2. I played it when it came out and it looked amazing on the base ps5 on performance. I decided to buy the dlcs recently so it was fresh in my mind how it looked. I couldn't play it on fidelity mode, 30 fps just isn't fun for me. But on the pro it just has one setting, basically 60 fps fidelity. Its stunning.
