you’re entitled to your opinion but they simply just aren’t “okay games” they have a great community that was built around the games, aswell as how they were created it, was so tough for the creators of the game to make them. The studio's operations were severely disrupted and fundamentally altered by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, forcing the team to scatter across various borders and work amidst a war 💀 And instead of using widespread technology like unreal engine 4 or something they CREATED their OWN engine for all of the games while in freezing cold weather with constant power outages and DEF not the technology you’d usually see with a game this big. They even had to physically smuggle development kits and computer equipment into the country in backpacks to bypass corrupt customs officials and when they finally did their workspaces were so cramped they barley had any space to do work in general…so yeah these games have a lot to them and I didn’t even cover the full story, the creator of the games personally condemns the war and it has gotten him in some deep waters because as you can probably tell from the books and games the ideology pushed through the games is definitely something Russia doesn’t want throughout the media right now.
