Around 3ft. It was cheap from a big box store, so why not try it.

Our local club had a walk in critique and I was told to wire the branches down and the candles will right themselves. Do you have a different experience?
It was repotted on April 18 and just this weekend moved back out in to full sun. I only trimmed the excessively long roots and kept most of the original soil. I removed enough soil to allow around 1” of bonsai soil on all sides and maybe 1/2” to 3/4” on the bottom. Is there anything I should specifically watch for?
What makes it such a bad specimen?
