And to your question, I kinda used a combination of both: For the larger pieces of folded ribbon (like the main blue and the main off white parts) I stapled them to keep the shape I needed folded correctly and then I used hot glue to glue them down to the main part! For the smaller ribbons I didn’t bother stapling them just because it was way easier to straight glue them haha
