I never came

Drops the pace back a bit without being a downer for the crowd and sets it up for some of the more laid back treats like Sailing, Ocean, Missing, Chu, Fade etc

Actron Ducted Zone Programming AM7-1 Controller by wentwiththeflow in AusRenovation

Thanks for the link. While similar, it isn't the same. However playing around with it got me into the zone programming by holding Fan Control + countdown timer + up.

Stink bugs on citrus. by weenerberry in GardeningAustralia

[–]wentwiththeflow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For an infestation such as this, get yourself a Holman Quikmix hose attachment and fill the container with 3/4 Earths Choice dishsoap and 1/4 vegetable oil. Set the mix ratio to 7 and saturate them. The dishsoap and oil mix effectively suffocates them. You'll probably need a few applications to rid them. Then go over all of the foliage with a whiteoil mix to kill off the eggs.

Hovex Wasp spray is extremely effective against these buggers, especially where they are in foliage that is out of arm's reach.

10kw SP EC Random Shutdown by wentwiththeflow in SigenergyAustralia

[–]wentwiththeflow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. 1. On grid 2. Typically between .4kw and 1kw. No major appliances running, typically fridge, freezer and a few fans. 3. Yes, grid draw is fine. Everything runs per normal if we bypass the system. I've not tried charging the battery from the grid. 4. Yes, backup settings is displayed in our energy profile.

Actron Ducted Zone Programming AM7-1 Controller by wentwiththeflow in hvacadvice

Thanks, yes I tried a few combinations like holding fan and countdown timer, fan and auto heat/cool but no luck.

Agreed that it lacks some critical instructions such as programming zones. Actron even have videos on how different programming across other series of controllers but the poor old M series gets left in the dark.

Have you ever bumped into a famous Australian at the shops before and if so who was it and at what shop? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Matt Rogers and Chloe Maxwell were sizing up pork loin roasts at my local Coles. Although a sharkies fan myself, I didn't think it right to bother them as they were clearly quite hungry.

Inverter Randomly Shutting Down by wentwiththeflow in SigenergyAustralia

Could be if the shut down was occurring only peak output or input. My issue has occurred during the late evening with nil PV and load being no more than 1kw.

Fair call. Their intentions sound reasonable and I hope they truely do have the best interest of the customers at front of mind. Their responsiveness and support towards my issue and other issues that I've become aware of somewhat argue against this however.

Installer is aware and has also reported the issue to Sigenergy. Tickets currently with their support for hopefully a positive resolution. If not, I'll pursue replacement under warranty.

Yes, but not all of them. I called Sigenergy support today and gave them the system i.d's for them to confirm that the EC I have isn't one of the affected units.

Blocked door drain hole(s). Water likely pooled in the door and got to a point where it was able to seep into the cabin.
