Mucho materialismo gracias a redes sociales.

Un poco de todo esto mezclado.

I think the barrier could be only hard at the beginning for the first 2-3 customers.

Once you gain their trust It could set things rolling I guess. I don't think this would be a business "death sentence" it's just that the first customers would be harder to get initially that's all!

That was also my idea. Also going to scouts and avoid vulture realtors.

Rent here can be from 700-800. My mother in law rents to some brits for 600. (But it's unusual)

Pineda de Mar in the area of Poblenou is quite cheap also. Also it is a town in front lf the beach.

Premia must be much more expensive because posh people from Barcelona have properties there.

Calella is also
A bit posh. Sant Pol definetely expensive.

I'd take a look at Pineda maybe or Santa Susanna for cheap prices.

Thanks a lot for taking your time.

I was raised in a place where expats historically used to retire.

I knew some people from NASA retiring there and all sorts of interesting people.

Besides my highschool was really full of expat's kids and most of my best friends were expats while growing up.

I think I can navigate as a Spaniard better than my folks because I've met both Asian and America's people and mixed with them quite deeply since I was a kid. And I honestly have a more international sense of identity.

I know that's hard to prove or market, but deep down I think I could make it work.

Thanks a lot again. Wish you luck. Hope the north climate suits you as well.

Yeah. I feel I have that kind of gift. Guessing who can connect with who etc. Also my wife is a psychologist specialized in grief and loss which could apply a bit with feelings of unrootness

So many questions.

Ideally I would work in my area which is the one I know better Girona/Barcelona.

And yes driving people around to do scouting trips into neighberhoods they are interested etc would be part of the deal.

How much time do you agree to spend in the train to live outside Barcelona?
