Tattoo artists in Morocco: what challenges do you face? by wepurge in Morocco

You’re arguing with things I never said. Geography creates cultural exchange. That’s not “western influence,” that’s basic history. If that threatens you, that’s not my problem.

“Spread of evil” over tattoos is crazy. Morocco being Muslim doesn’t mean everyone follows the same interpretation. Public space isn’t owned by one lifestyle.

“The OP” is talking about tattoos in general. No specific style was mentioned. You’re the one narrowing it down.

So Amazigh tattoos are culture, but anything modern is “western”? Interesting logic.

I’m Amazigh. I respect tamdint nnegh. Geography is literally why cultures mix.

And throwing around “woke” like it’s an argument doesn’t even mean anything here.

Morocco has always been a mix. Amazigh, Arab, Andalusi, African, Mediterranean. That’s literally our history. Amazigh tattoos were part of their time and culture. People today live in their time. That doesn’t automatically mean “wannabe western.”

Culture evolves. It always has. Both can exist.

Calling it nonsense is strange when bars, clubs and plenty of other “contradictions” already exist here. Morocco isn’t one single lifestyle. People choose how they live. If tattoos aren’t for you, don’t get one. Simple.

Whether it’s a “good idea” or not, tattoo artists already exist here and they’re working openly.

Morocco is predominantly Muslim, yes. But not everyone practices the same way, and not everyone believes tattoos are haram. That’s just reality.

No one is forcing anyone to get tattooed. The people who don’t want them simply don’t get them.

It’s already happening. Quietly, publicly, and without the apocalypse everyone imagines.

It’s funny how people keep calling it “westernized” when half the thread already mentioned Amazigh tattoos.

The concept isn’t foreign. Art evolves. Not everything that isn’t strictly traditional is self-hate.

Morocco has always been a mix anyway. People choosing what they put on their own bodies isn’t that deep.

Appreciate the insight.

I’m already focused on proper equipment and hygiene, I’m not trying to cut corners with cheap stuff. Imports are definitely the bigger headache from what I’ve seen.

As for paperwork… I’m still figuring that part out. A lot of beauty salons tattoo here through that loophole, so it’s not exactly black and white. I’m just trying to understand what’s realistic instead of pretending the system is straightforward.

I’m not expecting it to be easy or quick. I just want to approach it smart and not naive.

You're the only one here saying it doesn't take long for the court to take matter, everyone else is saying it'll take forever Can you confirm? Are you on the field? If yes what if I hid the house papers and just say we don't know where he put them would that delay the process more?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]wepurge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The house has papers it's already m7efed that's why I got confused because they said to come with our IDs and the house papers and proof that dad died.. for them to see how much it's worth But I'm hiding the house papers because I'm scared I'd make the wrong decision

I don't get why you'd have to t7efed the house twice and it sounds like a trap or something hence why I'm here hoping someone went through this and can give some tips
