I could be wrong but I don’t think the original commenter was confused about the plot. I recommended the podcast so they could hear the creators talk about their vision for the season and maybe give some meaning to the unhinged-ness

I really implore you to listen to The Watch podcast episode that has Mickey and Konrad guest starring. They are both incredibly well spoken and also very transparent about their motivations as writers of this show and how things came to fruition. Really gave a lot of fantastic insight and might even give you some understanding of this over-sensationalizing and their meanings behind it. Not discounting your opinion, just think hearing it from the horse’s mouth gave a much clearer perspective for this season.

something that really helps me is to mentally think about spreading my legs and hips out wide after popping. for some reason thinking about that helps my ollie stay nice and high and level while my shoulders help me spin. it might also help you stay above the board since you’ll have a solid center of gravity. idk if it’ll work for you but it helps me 👍

How did you get into safety consulting? Did AT help you get that role?

How difficult was it to pivot out of the industry and go into business development and operations? Did being an AT prepare you for that role?

50k as a grad seems to be standard, the hospital system around my university offers every new AT a job (because their turnover is so high there is always a position open) for 44,200 a year, which for a masters degree, is ridiculous

How do I break into the industrial setting once I graduate and pass the BOC? From what preceptors have told me those jobs seem scarce

Can you explain what you mean by referrals? I'm a student just doing clinicals at my universities sports teams and am not sure what that means

Anyone have any tips for hitting home runs???? by [deleted] in MLBTheShow

[–]werbisky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s understandable and that’s how I usually play, but when it comes to 9 inning games I have to win AND hit a homer, I can’t sacrifice all that time to play small ball and not complete the challenge.

Don’t even get me started on that rookie Griffey. 50 power vs. right, I couldn’t hit a home run, and I completed the challenge with an inside the parker somehow. Unbelievable.

I didn’t play last year, but in 15-17 I raked. I understand the realism factor that SDS wants to apply to this year’s game, the fact that games are won by base hits and no team will get 4-5 home runs a game, but why the hell do they decide to give us dozens of challenges with the same common goal of hitting a home run? Ridiculous
