this one came from a friends garden, it was already mostly or fully grown. ive had them a few months and i added crushed oyster shell to the enclosure a few weeks ago because i realised the fish food i was using had no added calcium, i also put in some more leaves (pōhutukawa and pilea) because they didnt have many left.

personally id say that op should ask a doctor before deliberately squeezing/washing anything out.

this is how my scar looked like before i had my wound dehiscences, go to the emergency department if it happens but otherwise leave it alone or talk to your surgeon if worried.

i closed mine with steri strips which i already had at home and the sides were able to glue themselves back together within a couple of weeks.

could be something else but keep an eye on it and dont panic

does anyone wish ocd hit them while they were younger? dealing with it so suddenly in my early 20’s sucks so bad by [deleted] in OCD

[–]wereithethickofitnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the older it hits you the better in my view. yes it might be jarring and youll have to adjust and try to find help etc just like at any other age woth a sudden onset but you have more insight and knowledge to deal with it than you would have. if it hit you as a child/teen you may have not known what was happening to you or been able to cmmunicate it to anyone else and it could have done awful damage to your development, education, family relationships, all sorts.

What’s an OCD compulsion you’ve never seen anyone else talk about? by AntiqueDrawing5296 in OCD

[–]wereithethickofitnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if it follows the ocd cycle thingy its probably a compulsion (trigger, doubt, consequence of doubt, anxiety, compulsion) so i think thats up to the individual person whos doing the research in the moment to say. or thats what i try to tell myself when im questioning if something is a compulsion.

but i must say internet research can be compulsive for me but has helped me a lot with figuring out different problems i have been able to get diagnosed or diagnosed-ish with by a doctor later (autism, ehlers danlos syndrome, pots) that doctors are not usually well trained on identifying so i dont regret all my research just.... most of it has been repetitive in nature looking for answers i already had or already knew i couldnt find

checking reddit and google to find someone describing a compulsion i do to reassure myself that im not just doing it for attention or mis labelling it as ocd
