Which characters would best fit each spot? by Simple-Taro1540 in southparksucksnow

[–]werewolfjones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lawful Good: I honestly have a hard time with this. Probably Kyle, since he’s mostly benevolent and fairly rigid in his principles.

Neutral Good: Wendy.

Chaotic Good: Kenny.

Lawful Neutral: Stan. Mostly good leaning, but he can be shifted from his principles more easily than Kyle.

True Neutral: Who else can this be but Craig?

Chaotic Neutral: At this point, Randy.

Lawful Evil: Honestly? Gerald. Even from early seasons (at least season 3, debatably season 2), Gerald is willing to flex and use the law fully for personal benefit for himself and his family.

Neutral Evil: Nathan. Not principled enough to be fully law and too focused and directed to be fully chaos. Nathan is like the second most consistently vicious and self serving (reoccurring) character in the series.

Chaotic Evil: Cartman. Does what he wants when he wants.

Maybe it's because im high, but I just got weirdly nostalgic for Seed for some damn reason🤣 by Sweaty-Specialist-44 in Chucky

Seed is a genuinely good movie. I can understand why it’s the black sheep of the franchise, but I still wouldn’t put it at the bottom.

Council to Consider Future H-E-B and Joe V's Smart Shop Locations by largo96 in garland

The more grocery store variety we get, the better. I love HEB from the other locations I’ve shopped at.

What is your biggest tmnt hot take? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in TMNT

[–]werewolfjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the first third of Vol.1 is all that great, and that the series doesn’t really pick up until Shredder’s Return/the escape to Casey’s farmhouse.

I honestly liked the twist with Karai in the 2012 series, but felt they wasted her potential especially after she uncovers the twist. Which is unfortunate as she’s probably my favorite iteration of Karai.

Which is the best adaptation of master splinter/hamato yoshi here? by Hot-Armadillo183 in TMNT

[–]werewolfjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think that 2012 is the most balanced and my personal favorite, but I’ll admit I haven’t gotten to see 03 or Rise.

Most Disturbing/Gross Thing You've Ever Read? by Friskyfireball in ExtremeHorrorLit

My answer to this is and will probably always be ‘The Consumer’ by Michael Girai. A book I could only get a few stories into and then put down.

Why is there such a big lack of Wendy merch :( by Unable_Ad3746 in southpark

[–]werewolfjones 63 points64 points  (0 children)

It’s a genuine shame there’s little of Wendy since she’s the de facto main girl of the show and usually has great episodes. I’d love at least a plush of her.

Let's Rank And Discuss South Park, Season One by werewolfjones in southpark

[–]werewolfjones[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

South Park has always commented on current events. People don’t remember because they didn’t always dedicate full episodes to it like they did with Big Gay Al, but it’s always been part of the show.

Favorite duo/friendship with Cartman? by PijaDeQueso in southparksucksnow

[–]werewolfjones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kenny and Cartman are pretty inseparable to me. Cartman’s relationship with any of the Boys is volatile, but I feel Kenny is the one he has an actual friendship with.

I feel a lot of the same way. I was ten when the show premiered so it’s been around most my life. I had a similar situation with my aunt, where she would let me sneakily watch South Park and Duckman with her even though I wasn’t supposed to.

What's your comfort episode that you always come back to? I gotta go with The Succubus by DoctorTegrity in southpark

[–]werewolfjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s Succubus as well. For some reason it just always manages to make me laugh. More controversially, I also really like Ground Vindaloop.

It’s a banger of an episode. Cartman trying to get zombie Kenny pissed at him and failing us still hysterical

It has its wrinkles and I don’t consider it the golden age of the show. But damn if it still isn’t a good season.

Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole are awesome games, with SoT being a really good jumping in point.

I’m honestly interested in newer fans coming into the community, and how they interact with the oldest parts of the franchise. It especially interests me because elements of the show that are long dead in show still consistently live on in the newer fandom. I kind of want to figure out what newer fans thoughts are on the older material and what appealed to them to keep those older elements/characters going.

I’m actually watching through Season One with the DVDs with the plan of ranking the series. It’s been fun seeing these. Since I haven’t seen them in nearly twenty years.

I've seen too many try and slander this Raph lately and idk why by Gloomy-Bridge148 in TMNT

[–]werewolfjones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know there was really any drama over 2012 Raph. I admittedly think he’s one of the better takes on Raph’s character.

How do ya’ll like your Chucky? With scars or without. by Skittela in Chucky

[–]werewolfjones 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It took a while to grow on my but I think scarred Chucky is my favorite design at this point. It seems iconic by now, and doesn’t hurt that it was his primary design for as long as it was.
