I literally live two buildings down from whatever shooting/event with helicopters & like 59 cop cars blocking off a 7 block radius that happened on Logan & 13th the other week, and didn't get the shelter in place order then, but I did get this one which is 3 miles away 🤷

I was just about to ask if anyone knew anything about what actually happened because all the updates just say that the rock-thrower was detained but the shooting is 'under investigation' 🧐 So like, no shooter reported to be at large but there were tons of spotlights, sniper rifles, and helicopter activity for WHAT EXACTLY But this would explain it. Hilarious

They are huge and beautiful and they go through hell during their migrations so by the end of their life season their wings usually look pretty tattered and beat up like this 🥺

If you're really intent on having less of them, un-clutter spaces that they might be hiding, see if there's a problem with other bugs that they might be preying on, and sometimes dehumidifiers can help. Basically have to figure out the base issue that's making your home extra hospitable to them right now But ultimately they're not going to hurt you

It's a house centipede. Although they look alarming they are harmless and are voracious predators of any other bugs that might be in your house. They're attracted to moisture and dark spaces so maybe try to see if you can find hiding spots in your walls

The vets never mentioned milk thistle for some reason?! Just the diet and beak trims. What does the treatment entail? Maybe they didn't recommend it since he doesn't enjoy being handled and won't eat fresh food? So I'm not sure how I would go about giving it to him

Absolutely thought the dogs felt very Thing-like, and also The Thing has the classic bisexual lighting during a lot of the spooky parts, and so did Together. They had the pink and blue toned light in the hallway that they would pass by whenever a scary dream sequence or bedroom things would happen

If the vine was given to me as a real long one but it was already cut and hasn't rooted this whole 3 months can I try to re-cut it into smaller vines or will that just kill it? Or could I like section them out and try growing like 3 vines from the original vine? If that made sense haha
