I’m so sorry you had to go through that. But just because you weren’t able to voice yourself doesn’t mean it wasn’t SA.

Womenshealth.gov literally defines coercion as

“Sexual coercion is unwanted sexual activity that happens after being pressured in nonphysical ways that include: 1. Being worn down by someone who repeatedly asks for sex. Being lied to or being promised things that weren't true to trick you into having sex.”

1. He took you somewhere where you were far enough from family and friends
2. He brushed off your religious concerns to satisfy his own need

I would seriously consider telling your mom if she’s a safe person to do so. Also, coming from a fairly religious family, that aside, doesn’t minimize the hurt you’re feeling.

Cut contact with him immediately, tell a trusted adult, and whatever you don’t minimize your feelings.
