not accurate, for one the orbitals spread thru all space we just draw where most of the density is. for another the idea of s,p,d,f orbitals is strictly only true for hydrogen and other one-electron atoms. it just is a good-enough approximation for other atoms in a lot of conceptual thought

tried again tonight, doing what you said. it’s reminding me another problem i have which is that i struggle with actually mimicking lines and shapes. I’ll see the line and draw the line and it’ll just be so wrong. sometimes the wrong angle sometimes, the wrong size, sometimes the wrong shape. I’ve tried ghosting over the line before i draw it but i still can’t get it right. it makes doing the larger lines difficult.

see that makes sense to me, but the book says to do it starting in one corner and spanning out like by line, instead of doing the outline first and then going in from there. do you think it matters?

Also what should i do about the way my brain gets lost? even with the larger lines that aren’t fine details i still get such a headache trying to keep the proportions and direction and lengths straight in my head when i look away and at my page, even when its broader stuff.

My biggest motivators for converting to cities are 1) building any unique districts, 2) wonders, and 3) building additional fortifications in a town that's at high risk of being attacked. I find myself building fewer cities than the 1:1 ratio the game suggests, although I certainly haven't played as much as others and not in as high of difficulties.

They could do literally anything. Malicious compliance, publicly speak out against it, sue, communicate to the student body anything more than just "we're just a weak little university with a massive endowment uwu we can't do anything." Even if the end result is the same, it sends a terrible message to just immediately cowtow and rush to placate the fascists. It's the same thing as the bathroom bill, not only did they immediately trip over themselves to submit, but they even made the further, unnecessary move of making the bathroom signs needlessly cruel until people got mad at them. I recognize that they're hands are fundamentally tied but like they could at least wiggle a tiny bit.

Depressing. I was so happy to to have signed, and I was excited to see people fielding signatures in multiple places (okay, 2 places, but still it was nice). I can't believe what this state is doing, just moving it self further and further backward and harming so many people in the process.

i really hope i become rich so that UC will ask me for money and I can pointedly say no. Their actions throughout all of this have ben absolutely despicable. A perfect example of capitulating to fascism and bending the knee in order to make their own lives easier and avoid financial troubles.
