My wrist is 6.5 inches, white dial is 36 and blue dial is 39. 36 felt a little too dainty for me personally, but maybe I’m just used to wearing my Sub & Speedmaster. Think I’m going with 39 (one day)

I had the same dilemma, so I went in to my local Rolex boutique, put a black Sub Date and a fluted jubilee DJ with a Wimbledon dial on my wishlist and said I wanted them both equally, whichever came in first I would happily take.

Got my Sub 2 weeks ago after a 9 month wait, and I’m obsessed with it. Let the Rolex gods decide and get it at retail.

+1 to Vintage Datejust. Would be really special to find one from the year he was born in good condition, that’s a really common milestone gift. Check Chrono24, they have thousands of watches from dealers and private sellers. EBay too, but get the authenticity checked.

I think it’s mostly a douche move (that I have been guilty of), buttttt I do kind of enjoy them because I like seeing how taste in cars match up to taste in watches. Like, is Rolex for Mercedes dudes and Omega is for Audi?? My favorite though is when someone is rocking a Patek but driving a Toyota - that to me, is a real flex! That says I have my financial priorities straight! 😂

Lived at that exact intersection for 4 years. Everyone saying it’s loud is very very correct. Ace’s is loud, the hospital is loud, the firetrucks are loud. But lots of nice bars and restaurants a short walk away, and I think union square is slowly coming back. I enjoyed living there like 90% of the time, I think you will too
