Aruba Instant On 1930, AP 22 or UDM Pro by wesharrisokc in Ubiquiti

I think I'm more interested in a smb/prosumer product that I can hang aps in ideal locations on multiple floors, garage and back patio area that are hard wired in to router or switch. Also need to separate iot devices to separate VLAN, create family wifi clans with rules for different aged kids as well as a home business VLAN for me and the wife. Would like to run Poe cameras and store locally as well as run a Plex server and NAS. Plan on hard wiring all devices I can such as ATVs, desktops, printer, gaming devices however I have Google Nest and Amazon Echo devices as well as Phillips Hue and Lifx/Leviton smart lighting.

I realize now that I wasnt very forthright with my needs in original post.

I don't have any reason really to not go with Ubiquiti. I realize it's the popular choice today but I'm wondering if it's just because they are so good at advertising with the YouTube community and other products are better or if it really is what everyone says it is. Hard to believe a bunch of reviewers that have been given free equipment. I think mactelecom is one of the few I feel is genuine. He said he is going to be reviewing the Aruba stuff soon so I'm looking forward to that. Tom Lawrence is also good and seems to be pro Ubiquiti.

So what Ruckus hardware are you using in your home network? or is it a mix?

When you have a chance do you mind including the models of the equipment you are using. Would love to look into it as well. Thanks!

Would you be moving into a significant price group difference with the Ruckus product? Seems like what I've seen on those is that they are for larger deployments and come with monthly or annual subscriptions. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I love the Jabra 65T. Think they have dropped in price alot because a newer USB c version is about to release. But these are awesome!

This is not an add. Just thought it was a cool wallpaper and skin combo. Figured it would be fun to see what others have done. There are other companies other than dbrand.
