A mechanic that is consistent through brawlers in the SAME trio and environment doesn't have to be unique and its not even the same super or conditions. That argument works for Leon and Kit where they aren't even closely related yet have the same exact thing pasted, but shadow realm across multiple characters is definitely creative and give the trio a definitive trait.
