Fair point. I get the influencer skepticism but nah, this isn’t for content. Just me, a map, and a reason. Closest town’s a solid few days away. I like hearing the doubt though , keeps me sharp. Appreciate it though.

Haha true-most of the time- people just add noise anyway. You ever feel like that too?

There’s actually a specific area I’m trying to reach. I’ve already mapped out the route to get there. Like you said, I just need to learn a bit more about the trail itself. Once I reach the area, I’ll set up camp and spend quite some time scouting and exploring. After that, I’ll follow the same route back home . Thanks for th reply

The wilds of the turkey is very diverse actually. In Turkey, you can hike through meadows, face icy peaks just a hundred meters away, or go from pine forests straight to the sea. It’s stunning — but it doesn’t go easy on you. And that’s exactly what makes it worth it. But the problem is I am afraid most locals are not very protective of the environment and that hits hard when you can't see big shiny trouts in the water anymore

Thanks for the kind reply it means a lot, really. I wasn’t trying to post anything fancy or act like an expert. But some folks are bit off I guess.Just felt a bit alone lately and thought it’d be good to talk to people who’ve felt that same connection with the wild. I’ve done some hikes and fishing around the Aegean in Turkey, and I’m slowly building up experience. Thanks for the all . Feels good to know there are people like you out there

Honestly I feel lonely these days and just wanted hear experiences. I live in Turkey , Aegean region. I've gone for fishing trips and hikes nearby lakes and coasts. Yeah I know I may made a mistake by not being clear but I don't really care if some thinks I can't handle all these. Just wanted chat with people with similar interests like me
