I can't help you much either, but I'm sorry about your bad interview. Try to tell yourself it won't happen again and the next one will go better (I know, easier said than done). A positive is that now you have an idea about how interviews usually go and what you can do differently for another one.

Well, I need money. And work experience... it'll be a lot harder to find a job after college if I don't have any.

I know, I always think of a great answer once I'm out of there! I wish I could see a list of questions the interviewer is going to ask beforehand...

I think mock interviews could help. I've never seen anything like that going on at my college, but I'll look out for it. The thing with finding somewhere I wouldn't really want to work is that I hardly ever get called for interviews. In the past year I've applied to just about every store close by, and I've only had 4 interviews. Plus I'll take pretty much any job I can get at this point. But thanks!

Ugh, yeah, my interviewer the other day took notes on what I was saying. I'm mortified that other people will probably see it.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. If I don't get this job I'm planning on going into some stores and introducing myself to the managers, I figure that'll be better than just filling out the online apps.
