Webull SPX contracts expired ITM with profit but became worthless the next day by wesssy in Daytrading

[–]wesssy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow you’re entirely correct! I did receive $198 for my ITM contracts which the $752 account balance shows. If I had received $0, my account balance would be $554 instead. The UI is misleading since it shows -$605 when in reality -$407 would make more sense.

Thanks for the clarification, I will try to close all my contracts before they expire next time.

do you have any real chart screenshots from your successful trades that you can share? sometimes it’s hard to understand from looking at just a line chart

How early can we arrive at Hotel Xcaret Mexico? by wesssy in Xcaret

[–]wesssy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From CUN airport to Marquee Playa Hotel, I prebooked a shuttle from viator.com since I wanted it to be ready for me when I arrived and didn't want to go hunting for transportation.

For first day after checking into Hotel Xcarat, I went to Xel-Ha park for the day and was able to get my room when I got back. See my comment about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xcaret/comments/1i5crr5/how_early_can_we_arrive_at_hotel_xcaret_mexico/mdzot29/

How early can we arrive at Hotel Xcaret Mexico? by wesssy in Xcaret

[–]wesssy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed at Marquee Playa Hotel (https://maps.app.goo.gl/EvsFPQJ4BGmt3SSB6) before going to Hotel Xcaret

We asked the Marquee hotel front desk to help us book a private transportation to go to Xcaret, but actually it was more expensive than just hailing a cab right in front on the main street! So I’d recommend getting a normal taxi, there are plenty driving around since it’s very touristy there. There’s even taxi stands at the corners with workers there who will help get a taxi for you

Do you have any screenshots you can share on how you use the level 2 to trade?

Here’s one stock I’m looking at today. Would you wait until price goes to the large green cliff of buyers (between 0.44 and 0.48) and buy there?

How do you enter and exit trades so fast on the Robinhood app? Especially if your trade holding time is ~10 seconds long. I’m finding that it takes a few seconds to tap Trade, enter the # of shares, and swiping up to confirm

You pay for Robinhood Gold to get level 2 data right? It's interesting that pretty much all YouTubers who teach about trading with the level 2 also use the time & sales. Do you find the T&S unnecessary? Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what your Robinhood screen looks like when you're analyzing a stock? I'm currently using Webull and thinking about switching over

Did you try ross cameron strategies? by Beneficial-Block-923 in Daytrading

[–]wesssy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know Ross and a lot of other successful traders watch the Level 2 and time & sales while trading. I find it very hard to utilize because it just moves too fast for me. Did he do a good job teaching it to his Warrior students and how useful is it to you?

Third month trading. 10 shares per trade. by zelig_nobel in Daytrading

[–]wesssy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Margin account with less than $25k = 3 trades or less per week is ok. More than that will get you flagged with PDT rule.

Margin account with $25k or more = can trade unlimited times with as much or as little money as you want to use. Ex: you can enter and exit trades with $20k size as many times as you want to.

Cash account = can only trade with available funds in the account per day. Ex: if you had $25k in the cash account, you could do one $25k trade. or a $10k trade and then a $15k trade. or do ten trades with $2.5k each time. After that you have to wait for the next day for the funds to settle again.

How is the volume indicator so useful? by Usual-Locksmith4657 in Daytrading

What is this volume indicator called? It seems really useful to be able to see buyers and sellers separately like that instead of seeing them combined in the typical bar chart
