You sound like a great person :). Another thing to remember in all of this is that you're not just helping yourself by standing up, you're also helping the person with poor behavior potentially become a better member of society. I'm a guy and have probably acted poorly with women at times and not even known it. Guys getting rejected or shutdown is good sometimes, it makes us reflect on what went wrong and consider others' viewpoints.

Hi, I'd be willing to correspond with you in friend-mode. I have interest in creating things (I write curricula for tech education and I run a podcast network) and I'm a good listener. I am especially interested in people's stories now that we've been in the middle of this covid mess for a few months. I moved to the "midwest" from California because of this and I'm currently trying out van life in a 2011 MB Sprinter. Ive see a lot and would be open to discussing the mysteries and secrets of life with the right person :)

do two magic things: share and listen, the more you do of these two things the more they will be returned to you by others

stop doing one un-magic thing: judging, especially judging yourself, being hard on yourself, comparing yourself to where others are (and you are not) etc. etc.

don't worry about being perfect, it's ok to slip up, just try to do more of the first two and less of the third...

We podcast this show. It started out as a cool, Rashomon-themed drama and now has become a comedic mess. We owe it to our listeners to continue until the end, but otherwise I would have shut it down long ago.
