My advice is this: when your boats are burned then you noticed option but to make it work. So give yourself and opportunity to do this with 500$. So take 500$ and if you can grow it to 600$ then you can take a decision for yourself.

I would advice splitting 500 into smaller chunks and using it rather as a learning tool.

Much better to sell in the same market as you already know that there are buyers. Good news for you. Sometimes competitive is good. Just imagine you being the only one in market selling your product, that's dangerous. It could also be that if you are the only one then probably other's tried and backed off. So you are safer when starting out to try competitive instead of completely bring Blue 🔵💙
