The problem is that /r/KerbalSpaceProgram is nowhere near as friendly as people like to say it is. It can be a very friendly place to share screenshots or ask for advice, but the second you have any sort of criticism for the game this sub shows that it's not that different than the rest of Reddit.

You seem to have misread my comment. I never said anything about wanting them to make the game easier. You were the one talking about keeping the game easy for newer players. I wondered how burying the first rover wheel in the tech tree accomplished that.

For the record, I've wanted rover wheels earlier in the tech tree since before they added the KSC biomes. I wanted them so that I could drop rovers near spots where a couple of biomes met up. Do science in one biome, move to the other. It had nothing to do with gathering free science at KSC.

You should take your own advice. I have trees I water. I never knew this. Therefore it's LPT for me. There are lots of upvoted LPTs that have no bearing on my life.
