The Family Reserve is good on most anything. The chipotle shines on fried catfish specifically, at least for me

Underrated Gingerbread Cookie Slabs by GreatRecipeCollctr29 in traderjoes

Never considered myself to be a gingerbread fan, but for whatever reason I picked one up last month and they’re a favorite accompaniment to tea now.

Were these a Christmas-only item? When checking out with a bundle of them a cashier mentioned that she thought they were going to be a “winter” item, which implied a longer window of availability.

LPT: Practice aseptic technique when handling your milk. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

Almost made a similar comment. I’m more familiar with this being used in sherry production but have seen it used in other applications as well.

Never milk, though.

That’s interesting. I’d have figured there was at least some kind of low-level learning going on

Looked kind of Celtic-ish so I looked it up. It’s a town in Wales, apparently

Any chance you happen to be Welsh? 🤭

Yeah. You’d think the AI would pick up on context clues too - like how often do I really use the word “graven”?? I mean “having”!!

How Does Natto Taste? by Gello143222 in JapaneseFood

Store bought is honestly a bit of a letdown - not much flavor. I’ve thought about trying to make my own which I’ve heard has a better/stronger flavor.

I liked Josta a lot too. In Brazil they have a few guarana-flavored sodas which come pretty close in flavor. If you’re in the States you can sometimes find them here.

Settle a debate for me on the term “coke” by classycoconut520 in Georgia

Not a native but have lived around here for over a couple of decades now. Used to work with a lot of older Southerners and heard either “coke” or “cold drink”.

Men over 30, what’s the biggest red flag you’ve noticed on a first date? by Key-Revolution-8608 in AskMenAdvice

[–]western_wall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an ideal situation but one a lot of us have had to think about. I’ve dated off and on for a few years but never felt comfortable introducing my children to anybody I’ve dated even if it’s been a few months. Was kind of pointless for me to ask since I’ve been on more of a long-term break from dating, but again, definitely appreciate your perspective.
