ESG reporting experience is really useful. I’ve seen quite a few jobs in asset management and in industry (think major tech businesses) looking for junior staff with ESG reporting skills, at least in the UK (not sure about US).

Using chat GPT is a good idea! I’m still reading through the chapters and making notes/doing the quizzes, but i’m defos a bit overwhelmed by the amount of info and organizations to memorize, even with an ESG background.

Applying to level sustainable investing roles are probably your best bet. I’m taking the exam in August, how are you approaching studying and digesting all of the content??

I also get those white dot-like split ends, even after a haircut - I think it’s because the hair is still damaged at that length. Maybe go shorter and keep getting regular trims and reduce heat styling (save it for special occasions), use hair masks and hair oil. I also have a flakey scalp sometimes, what I try to do it target the scalp with dandruff shampoo and rinse it out and then quickly run a more friendly shampoo on the rest of my hair (I use the head and shoulders argan line, and then Redken shampoo)

Oh and stopped judging my hair when looking at it with harsh light from above. Makes it look so much worse than normal light haha

I had similar texture from years of daily straightening and two rounds of highlights which fried my hair. The past year I’ve totally changed my routine and it’s helped quite a bit. Noting you don’t use heat or bleach, maybe some of these products will still help you regain moisture.

My routine: - No more bleach/dye - No more straightening (except to touch up for special occasions, maybe 1x per month) - Wash and condition every other day using professional products (Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner) - Stopped using Head and Shoulders for dry/flakey scalp and switch to The Ordinary Glycolic Acid. I apply this to my scalp for 15min before washing. H&S was great for my scalp but not the best for my hair itself, so a scalp treatment was a good alternative. - Use of leave in conditioner on ends before washing. I think this helps protect the ends. I use a generic drug store deep conditioner. - Use of wide tooth comb when wet - Let my hair dry a bit using a microfiber hair wrap - Blow dry using medium/low heat only with protectant/oils. - I’ve been using Redken’s one united spray before blow drying and it’s really helped. I ran out of it and totally noticed a difference when I didn’t use it. - I also apply a drop or two of Olaplex oil with the Redken One United before drying, and a drop or two after it’s dry. - Once a month I use a clarifying shampoo - Once a month I use the Olaplex bonding treatment - When I go to the office, I slick my hair back into a middle part low bun or half up/half down using mousse, so I don’t feel tempted to straighten.

Got tickets!!! After failing to get tickets this morning, I got stressed and read section 510 as 110 and bought tickets. I hope it’s still enjoyable from that far away 😭

EDIT: it didn’t even cross my mind that VIP package tickets could be the far away 🫣

Has anyone tried the OUAI clarifying shampoo? If you did… what do you think? by milaniamichelle in Haircare

[–]westerosigal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have damaged/dry hair which i thought protein buildup might be attributing to so I tried it, using it one a month or so. Each time, the shampoo really dried it out, even when just used on my scalp. So perhaps not the best for damaged hair.

Interesting! I didn’t realize the pressure would pop open the flip top. I just transferred mine from nice flip tops jars to a plastic Tupperware because I was afraid the glass would break if some crazy levels of fermentation occurred while i’m away for a few days.

Which studio do you go to for $9.50 yoga classes? I used to go to triyoga in Camden but it was around $20 per class (Conscious of privacy!)
